I am a photographer of nature and wildlife.  A lover of landscape photographer, I always looks for any excuse to explore the outdoors, camera in hand.  An aerospace engineer by trade, I have an eye for detail - patient when required, but with devilishly dogged determination to get the image I want out of any scenario.

Generally my love of landscape photography and taste for nature makes me lean more towards taking photographs of vast expanses of countryside.  However, the thrill of capturing beautifully candid moments of wildlife is always enjoyable, meaning I'm always juggling either very wide or enormous telephoto lenses.

I find that sometimes photography is just the way into better experiences in life.  It leads you to places you never though you'd go but can also bring new pleasure out of seemingly familiar places.  Other times photography is the start, middle and end of experiences - sometimes things in person aren't as good as they are in concept.  But in either case, at least photography got you out of the house and experiencing the wider world.  This is why I love it.
